At Melbourne Inn Barbados, we keep things simple, transparent, and guest‑friendly. These policies help ensure a smooth, comfortable stay for everyone.

Reservations & Payments

  • Reservations must be confirmed with a deposit.
  • Guests must be 18 years or older to make a reservation.
  • Children of all ages are welcome.
  • Deposit Requirements:
    • 50% deposit for bookings of 2 nights or more, due at the time of booking.
    • 100% deposit for 1-night bookings, due at the time of booking.
  • Additional Guests:
    • Ages 12+: $22 USD per person, per night
    • Ages 0 – 3: FREE
    • Ages 4 – 11: $15 USD per child, per night
  • A $75 USD damage deposit is required at check‑in for all bookings.

Check‑In & Check‑Out

  • Check‑In: 3:00 PM
  • Check‑Out: 11:00 AM
  • Early check‑in or late check‑out may be available upon request.
    • Please notify our Front Desk Team prior to arrival or departure.
    • Additional charges may apply and availability is not guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy

  • FREE cancellation up to 14 days prior to arrival.
  • Late cancellations or no‑shows may incur a fee equal to 100% of reservation cost.
  • Cancellation Penalties:
    • Bookings 2 nights or more: 50% of the total.
    • 1‑night bookings: 100% of the nightly rate.
  • Third‑party reservations follow the policies of the booking platform.
  • Unused room nights are non‑refundable (exceptions may be considered).
  • If you need to cancel or change your dates, please notify our Front Desk Team as soon as possible to avoid penalties.

Day Pass Reservation & Payment Policy

  • FREE cancellation up to 48 hours prior to the arrival date.
  • Cancellations made after this window incur a 100% penalty.
  • Day passes are non‑transferable.
  • Reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.
